Where I've Been
To my fellow readers and book club,
First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for my absence. Being away without an explanation is not ideal, and I know I owe you all some insight into where I’ve been. Truthfully, I’m still figuring out a few things, but I’d like to share what I can, even though it’s difficult for me to put into words.
For those who may not know me well or haven’t been following me for long, I want to share something personal: I have Bipolar II Disorder as well as Generalized Anxiety Disorder. These conditions make it incredibly challenging to stay consistent with any task—whether it's work, school, hobbies, or anything else.
On top of that, I live in the great state of Michigan, a place known for its beautiful yet brutal winters. Unfortunately, the seasonal shift led me into a depressive cycle, making it even harder to stay on track. It feels as though I’ve been in hibernation, focusing only on my most basic survival needs so that I can emerge stronger in the spring and summer.
With that said, I ask for your patience. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been slowly writing again, determined to give Whispered Truths the best possible chance to make it to print—and into your hands. I’m still deciding whether future chapters will continue to be posted on Wattpad, as I’d love to keep an element of mystery by the time the book is officially published (Universe willing).
Until then, I hope you’ll continue to follow along on this journey. You can find me on other platforms, and hopefully, one day, I’ll get to share the incredible news that Whispered Truths is finally in print.
With the warmest wishes,
Taylon James Honeman-Earle
